After getting his bachelor degree, Muluk remains jobless for almost two years. But when he meets Komet the pickpocket, an unexpected job opportunity opens up. Komet introduces Muluk to his boss, Jarot. Muluk is shocked to find the house filled with children of Komet’s age, who work as pickpockets. Muluk sees an opportunity to manage their finance, and asks for 10% share of their loot. The business he manages becomes a success, but deep in his heart, he wants the pickpockets to change their profession. Assisted by two colleagues who are also scholars, Muluk gives talks to teach the children religion, manners, and ethics.
